Governance

Community Organisers is a registered charity. The charity’s trustees make up the Board of Directors. The Board consists of five people who are appointed as 'Individual Directors' and three trustees who are appointed from our network of Social Action Hubs. All trustees are appointed on the basis of their skills, experience and ambition to advance the community organising movement. We have also reserved three places for co-opted trustees who can be invited to join the Board at certain times to bring in additional experience and viewpoint on a particular subject matter. We are registered as Community Organisers Limited, with the Charity Commission (Registered Charity number 1183487), and with Companies House (Company number 08180454).
