It came together to identify the needs and aspirations of these local communities and to agree how best to use the £1.15 million Big Local fund available.
The Partnership’s objectives are to manage the ten year programme to meet the area’s long term vision and outcomes to make a positive and lasting difference to the communities of Southwest Bishop Auckland.
From now until March 2026 the Partnership is looking at their overall aim of supporting activities that improve the health;th and wellbeing of local residents, groups and local business, across three equally important priority areas:
- community, growth and development
- people, place and space
- children, young people and families
