We will hear from 2 of our Social Action Hubs, Emma Wilkes, Founder of Neo Community which started as a community café and social supermarket and is now providing a kids afterschool club and holiday club as well as a community hub for all. Emma will talk about the reason they set it up, their “pay as you feel system” and how through their work they are promoting the growth of self-sustaining, resilient communities.
We will also hear from David Baxter from Wigan and Leigh Community Charitywho have just celebrated 25 years of contributing to the education, employment, and enterprise provision in their area.
