Lee Jasper

Lee has consistently campaigned for social justice over the last 40 years and has spent decades advocating for race equality and injustice in public service. He was the national spokesperson for the National Black Caucus, a then-radical, unconstituted Black and Asian activists network founded in the aftermath of the 1986 uprisings.

He also worked in a homelessness housing collective, the Interval Housing project, run by the Rainer Foundation and based in Peckham. He was chair of the Mangrove Community Association, All Saints Road Notting Hill, from 1984 to 1997.

 He spent eight years as a Senior Political Adviser to the former Mayor of London Ken Livingstone.

He is the co-founder and was the co-chair of Anti Racist Alliance and the  National Assembly Against Racism (NAAR) , Black Activists Rising Against Cuts (BARAC). He is also a co-founder of Blaksox leadership and legacy self-help social movement and is currently the Chair of the Alliance of Police Accountability (APA)

As a strategic consultant, Lee works as an advisor to a wide range of organisations and companies both here in the UK and internationally.
