We are looking particularly at the menopause and how we can make changes in the workplace, NHS and the education sector to raise awareness and support women through their menopause journey.
Due to a lack of policies around women’s health and menopause in the workplace I started to explore how to create a menopause policy in our own workplace. This led to conversations with more women across our network where we have began to explore women’s health and the menopause in the workplace, education and health sectors.
We hope to hold a wider conversation around this with a panel of people representing the health service, education sector and the employment sector as a starting point for further exploration around these issues so we can affect change and influence policy.
