In this session Community Organisers Nick Gardham will explore how, once you have listened and started to identify the people who want to get involved in an area you can build a power base of collective individuals.
This session will also explore how these new, accountable structures can engage with the structures that already exist, be that parish, town or county councils and their elected members or the local MP as a way of influencing decision making and bringing about the change people want to see in their neighbourhoods.
