The government’s Independent Commission into Neighbourhoods has put place back onto the agenda, which is important to the work of our Social Action Hub Network who are all rooted in place.
This session will be facilitated by Nick Gardham who will open a discussion on the importance of connecting people and place.
We will hear from Fin Irwin from Into Bodmin who will talk about the work they do and their project on Roots and Routes and the importance of the Cornish identity. We will also hear from Andy Green Director of Grow Social Capital and cofounder of #DublinConversations and #ModernCockneyFestivaland his work on the importance of place.
