Nick Gardham will facilitate the webinar and will
- Begin by setting out how it has been 5 years since the Covid 19 pandemic causing crisis across communities and how since then we have moved from organising in a time of crisis to organising both in a time of crisis and misinformation
- We will talk about the existential crisis we are still living in with cost-of-living still impacting people’s lives and the wider climate crisis and will explore how these crisis’s have been used as narratives to divide us often based on misinformation
- We will hear of stories from across our network of how organising in these times can be particularly hard as the people we are trying to organise may believe in these false narratives or may not be politically engaged
- We will then explore how we can counter this to bring communities together
