I’m Jose a Colombian community organiser, Art of Hosting practitioner, trainer, social entrepreneur and musician based in Bristol. I am passionate about people power, social change and social justice, creating spaces for meaningful participation, collaboration and self organisation in communities and organisations in Colombia and the UK.
As the founder of Community CoLab and founding director of Community Organisers, I have been involved in supporting a number of initiatives including: The St. Agnes Edible Garden, Operation Back Alleyway, Future Conversations, A Health and Wellbeing Movement for the South Lakes and different campaigns including a campaign to save the St. Paul’s Adventure Playground and another to stop the selling of council housing in inner city Bristol.
